Our manual tumblers take approximately 6 weeks to generate high-quality compost. The 110-litre bins are attached on the sides and can be swung back and forth or rotated completely upside-down. This mechanical action allows for the perfect mixing of contents, preventing the bio-mass from compacting.
Usage Guidelines
For a standard household generating approx. 8kg of wet waste, a pair of these bins is recommended. While the bins are robust, we recommend keeping the load within the 110-litre limit, as heavier weights can become difficult to rotate manually. This system works best when used with shredded, well-balanced material.
