Static Compost Bins
These bins are very similar in function and design to the Aero Bins, they are bigger and serve to compost larger quantities from multiple homes/kitchens as the composting process advances the decomposing material collapses in volume and has the potential to turn into a soggy mass which then retards the flow of oxygen. Our compost bins allow for inspection of this process manual intervention for aeration.
Size Options
- 40 Litres - Small single families (max. 2 Kgs per day with 2 bins)
- 60 Litres - Larger families (max. 4 Kgs per day with 2 bins)
- 120 Litres - Small buildings upto 10 families (2 bins)
- 240 Litres - Buildings upto 25 families (2 - 4 bins)
- 360 Litres - Buildings upto 35 families to 100 families (4 - 8 bins)
Note : In these cases the Quantity of bins increases, while a minimum of 2 will work for 35 families, another bin is needed for every 15 more families.
